Howard Fearn

Howard founded Avian Ecology in 2007 having previously worked for a multi-national consultancy. He is a lifelong ornithologist and professional ecologist with a particular interest in combining development and conservation objectives. Howard is responsible for technical and planning expertise and has completed numerous robust EIAs for large-scale developments. He has extensive experience in the renewable energy and housing sectors. His clear understanding of client objectives, combined with a detailed knowledge of the planning process and underpinning legislation, provides a strong platform for key negotiations with stakeholders. Howard is an experienced expert witness and has particular expertise in habitats regulation assessments.
