The Avian Ecology team recently swapped surveys and reports for buggies and hovercrafts as we came together for our summer social at Hover Force in Frodsham – conveniently located right next door to our ongoing Frodsham Solar project.
The day was a great opportunity to bring together colleagues from across the business, including members of our Scotland team and several newer starters who had not yet had the chance to meet everyone in person.
There was plenty of friendly competition throughout the afternoon, with some impressive speeds on the off-road buggies and competitive racing on the hovercrafts. Thankfully, everyone made it through largely unscathed!
We rounded off the day with dinner in the sunshine and a chance to relax and catch up away from our day-to-day project work.
As our team continues to grow, opportunities like this are increasingly important. Bringing colleagues together away from projects gives us the chance to strengthen relationships across our offices, welcome new team members and simply enjoy spending time together.
