Our history

Having gained considerable experience working for a global consultancy, Company founder Howard Fearn set out to provide the benefits of the highest levels of professionalism within a specialist independent team. Since inception in 2007, Avian Ecology has steadily expanded and now offers a complete range of ecological services to all sectors.

Whilst growing the company we have built a team of expert, innovative and highly professional ecologists.  We are proud of our projects and thrive on building long-term, effective relationships with clients to support them throughout the project lifetime.

We take the time to understand our client’s objectives and to anticipate and address potential issues, whilst always maintaining professional excellence and integrity. The company’s focus is on the provision of an excellent service, based on an in-depth knowledge of our field, pragmatic advice and robust documentation.
